About the Course

This one-day course is designed for a maximum of twelve delegates and offers the flexibility to be delivered on-site at the customer’s location, at Hendeca’s premises, or online.

The intended audience for this course consists of site managers and site Health & Safety managers. It’s worth noting that the course is IFSM approved.

The content includes:

• Understanding the legal requirements and relevant guidance
• Clarifying roles and responsibilities and identifying who is responsible for what
• Providing an overview of site documentation
• Creating your Construction Phase Fire Safety Management Plan
• Managing fire hazards and implementing prevention and protection measures
• Practical strategies for populating your plan and maintaining records
• The importance of the Fire Logbook
• Conducting Fire Safety Inspections
• Emergency planning
• A Question & Answer session for clarification and discussion

On completion of the course, delegates are assessed with a knowledge confirmation paper at the end of the day. A certificate is awarded to those who pass the paper with a score of 70% or higher and participants are encouraged to keep a course slide handbook for future reference.
