Anaphylaxis is a severe and life-threatening allergic reaction, demanding immediate medical attention. As the number of individuals affected rises annually, knowing how to respond to this acute emergency is of utmost importance.
Our QA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) qualification is tailored for individuals with specific responsibilities at work, home, or in voluntary and community activities. This course helps participants to provide essential basic life support and effectively manage anaphylaxis during emergencies.
On successful completion, candidates will be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis. They will be trained to administer safe, prompt, and effective treatment, ensuring they are prepared to handle this life-threatening condition confidently.
It was a great course and will definitely impact my responsibilities as a support worker positively before calling 999. I will now do my part whilst waiting for emergency services, thereby reducing the complications for the casualties.

I’m really thankful to our lovely trainer Mrs. Sandra for the lovely class she delivered today. She taught us about every emergency situation that we could face as a care giver, and how we can face situations in the correct way to preserve someone’s life.
