Also condemnation from the First Minister John Swinney, stating they were “completely unacceptable”.
Is There Renewed Optimism for Construction?
Last week we reported on the Budget in relation to the construction industry. Now research by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICs) has released positive data from respondents who by a net 28% predict an increase in workload in the next 12 months. Some respondents though are concerned that with a skills shortage of bricklayers, carpenters and plumbers, plus with financial pressures there could be some more challengers along the way. However, the increase in employment opportunities is expected by the industry.
Therefore, a well trained workforce is essential and Hendeca will continue to offer the training required to those of all roles and levels of experience/non-experience to develop and to work more safely.
