On Tuesday 17th of September Hendeca offered a taster session of what our full Qualsafe accredited Fire Safety courses can offer to businesses. These courses include Fire Awareness, Fire Warden/Marshall and this also includes Practice Use of Extinguishers (PUE).

The Fire Safety Order 2005 (FSO) mandates that all businesses ‘The Responsible Person’ must ensure they have the highest fire safety standards and processes in place to maintain them. This includes having recorded fire safety plans, risks assessments and a fire safety trained competent workforce. All of which are essential to protecting life and compliance with UK law.

Our pop-up event gave an insight into what our Fire Safety course offers and the fire safety services we can offer i.e. Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) by qualified and experience Fire Risk Assessors. When delivered in full our accredited courses allow for our clients the opportunity to gain both comprehensive classroom and practical experience with industry professionals like Keith and Gordon who helped make Tuesday’s event possible.

Attendees felt that even within the constraints of a condensed delivery time, their confidence to respond to different types of fires and use of different extinguisher types had improved significantly. Moreover, it also created the conversation on how the vital skills learnt on our courses can be applied to your home life too. It is important to mention employers have a responsibility towards all their workers, including those working remotely.

We want to thank all attendees for coming to our pop-up safety event.
