Our fire safety courses include all the latest Health and Safety legislation and the requirements of The Fire Regulatory Reform Act 2005, to fulfil your HSE and insurance obligations and protect your staff.
For businesses employing five or more employees, there is a legal requirement to highlight the risks and document a plan. Under the Regulatory Reform Order (RRO) 2005, business owners or managers are classed as the 'responsible person' of a building and they must carry out and regularly review their plans in fire emergency situations. We can support some of your obligations by providing the very best fire safety awareness and fire warden courses, helping to keep your staff as safe as possible.
Each company, under the Reform Order, must train a member of staff to become a certified Fire Marshal/Warden, who are responsible for identifying fire hazards in the workplace to minimise risk, as well as ensuring that emergency procedures, like evacuations and drills, are appropriately conducted. We provide this training as well as more general fire safety awareness for all your staff.
Your training experience will include:
Each course is designed with the very latest health and safety legislation by qualified instructors, with many proven years of fire service experience. Your instructor will help you understand the importance of escape routes and emergency routines, evacuation instructions and how to liaise with the fire service in the unfortunate event of your premises suffering from a fire in the workplace. They will also help you understand the role of the 'responsible person' and what it means to be a Fire Marshal/Warden. We will cover the class of fire and how to select an extinguisher or fire blanket depending on what is on fire. The session will finish with a practical summary to test your knowledge and skills to select a fire extinguisher and use it on live fire. In a safe environment, using a gas-powered training rig.
Our courses include a detailed presentation and learners knowledge book. Led by our expert instructors, where possible we will use your organisations evacuation and emergency plans to test your staff's knowledge, making the training specific and relevant to each person on the course.

He also delivered the training very well adding in anecdotes and keeping our attention all the time."
